1. Спочатку згадаємо, які свята святкують британці:

- Christmas
- New Year's Day
- Mother's Day
- St. Valentine's Day
- May Day
- Halloween
2. Дізнаємося більше про те, як британці святкують Хелоуін:

а) вивчимо нові слова:
- lantern  -  ліхтар
- jack-o' lantern  -  ліхтар, зроблений з гарбуза на свято Хелоуін
- pumpkin  -  гарбуз
- to cut out slits  -  вирізати отвори
- lighted candle  -  запалена свічка
- trick or treat  -  жарт або ласощі
- trick or treaters  -  діти, які ходять і просять ласощі на свято Хелоуін
- ghost  -  привид
- witch  -  відьма
- wizard  -  чаклун
-scary  -  страшний
- fancy dress costumes  -  маскарадні костюми
